our services

cleanings/exams

Preventative care is important for staying cavity and infection free. We provide dental cleanings and examinations so that everyone in the family can stay in excellent oral health.

Cleanings help stop the small things from becoming bigger issues down the road. Among others, some of what we do during your cleaning appointment is check for signs of oral cancer and periodontal disease. If you are a full-mouth dental implant patient, the cleaning is when your hygienist removes and deep cleans your dental implant hybrid.

We recommend scheduling your cleaning appointments twice a year!

pediatrics

Oliverie Dental is your family dentist from childhood to adulthood.

wisdom tooth extractions

Wisdom teeth, extra teeth, or very crowded teeth present situations that may mean treatment involving removal.

dentures

Dentures are the classic method for replacing one’s teeth. If you’re missing all your teeth, traditional dentures can help to partially restore your ability to chew foods and helps to retain the structure of your jawline when they’re in.

Full dentures sit on top of your gums and are held in place with the natural suction in your mouth and sometimes with the aid of adhesives made for this very reason.

When only a few teeth need to be replaced, partial dentures or “partials” can be made. This type of removable denture usually bridges a gap and is attached to existing teeth.

For additional support, dentures can be attached to dental implants – these are called “snap-ons” because they snap onto the implants.

root canal therapy

“Endodontics” is also known as root canal therapy.

When a tooth develops a cavity that has reached the root, or the nerve within the tooth, it will need a root canal.

During a root canal, we remove the decayed material from the tooth. After disinfecting the inside of the tooth to eliminate any remaining bacteria, we restore the tooth with a custom crown.

dental restorations

We can restore teeth that have been damaged in an accident or have become infected. We have a variety of ways to do so.

periodontal laser therapy

Laser treatment is a tissue-preserving, regenerative, and bone-building procedure.

In general dentistry the hygienist uses a laser to access an infected pocket to kill the infected tissue and bacteria. Once the infected tissue is removed and the root is exposed, the tartar is removed with an ultrasonic root cleaner instead of scraping with hand tools.

Laser treatment ensures that no tissue is subtracted or gum tissue is reduced to a lower level on purpose. It also stimulates healthy, new tissue growth.

orthodontics

Straight teeth are for anyone regardless of age, and more and more adults are choosing clear aligners.

Custom plastic trays are made specifically for your teeth. Each tray is worn for a certain amount of time before moving onto the next. Every tray exchange moves your teeth, little by little, into their desire place without the need for metal braces.
